Booking your holiday at the sea to Le Pouliguen. The name of LE POULIGUEN comes from the Breton words poul (pond - hole - cove - mooring) and gwen (white). Nowadays we find a poetic translation: little white bay. In the South of Guérande's countryside, at the boundary of the bay of Le Pouliguen (nowadays called the bay of La Baule) stretched out along its channel, the little port of Le Pouliguen owes its development to the transportation of salt produced in the salt marshes of Guérande.
